Dr. Eubanks is co-chair of the Hearing Workgroup of the Virginia Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EDHI) program's Advisory Committee. The articles on the development of the CST won the Editor's award from the American Auditory Society in 1989. She has taught at the graduate level, and tested the hearing of newborns through elderly listeners. She is also the mother of a teenager, and thus has a keen interest in classroom acoustics and prevention of noise-induced hearing loss.
